Celebrate National Library Week
April 13-19, 2014
Introduced in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance of the contributions of libraries everywhere. Sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries all over the country , NLW promotes library use and support each April. Join us in celebrating the value of libraries and librarians across the nation.
This year's theme for NLW is Lives change @ your library.
Tell us how libraries have changed your life! Join in on the conversation. During NLW, share your stories with a tweet using the hashtag #LivesChange and #NLW14.
Come join us for a special event April 11th, 9:30 a.m. (the start of Coffee@Goldstein every week) in the Goldstein Library Commons. Maurice from Catalina Café will do a talk on “the history of coffee roasting.” And maybe if you are good, he will offer samples of freshly ground, freshly brewed coffee from the Café.
Catalina Café http://catalinacafe.com/ sells locally Roasted Coffees and Certified Organic, FairTrade, and Rainforest Alliance Certified Coffees. Their Baked Goods are Locally Baked and only use quality products for your quality Sandwiches! They feature a Pour Over or Press Brew for that On-Demand Brew! With locally roasted coffee, it is literally the freshest cup of Coffee you could possibly get!
They have 2 locations in Tallahassee: 1208 Capital Circle, across from SAM’s and 114 All Saints, near Railroad Square.
Join us in the Goldstein Commons for nights of knitting.
Goldstein Library (http://goldstein.cci.fsu.edu/ ) in the Louis Shores Building, is a partner with iMaker FSU (on Facebook: www.facebook.com/imakerfsu ) and
